i totally think the right one looks better! but that's just me :)
I like the one on the left because it fills the open space. The one on the right looks too loose with the blank area around the text. As afar as a logo, the one on the left incorporates the door image much better and I like the way that "records" looks underneath the other text. There's my two cents.
